Google Car rental starts in Seattle.
Google said it will offer Google CarRental, which is part of its CarNet service, as a free option to renters, with the option of paying a $15 annual fee to lease a car from Google.
The service, which offers a variety of car rental services including rental cars and delivery services, will be available for people who don’t have a Google account, but those who do can use their existing Google account credentials to sign up.
Google said it plans to expand the service to other cities in the coming weeks.
The company said the service is available to renters who have a valid Google account and have no prior car rental experience.
For those who have had no previous experience with Google Car rentals, Google said, Google Car is an easy way to get in touch with existing car rental companies.
